I started off very young making stick figure horses with stories of their intimate lives and moved on in my teens to photorealistically copying images of people in National Geographic. I worked as a writer and editor for many years and then switched forcefully from the verbal to the visual when I got my MFA in my early 30s and proceeded to acquire an exhibition record and a career as a professor. I like the immediacy of visual language, a poetry of all over recognition.
